On 30 July 2026, the Global Affairs Office (GAO) at EdUHK organised a summer programme for non-local secondary school students under the Mainland Principal Nomination Scheme. 

The Department of Science and Environmental Studies (SES) took part in the programme and provided a dedicated non-local section featuring a hands-on workshop titled “From Block to Robots: Exploring Mathematics through Hands-on Learning”. 

The session included ATP testing experiments and interactive AI platforms to help students explore real-world applications of mathematics and science, aiming to spark their interest and creativity in STEM.
